Beat Streuli (* 1957 in Altdorf, Switzerland) lives in Düsseldorf and New York.
1977-1981: Kunstgewerbeschule Zurich and Basel; 1981-1983: seminars at the Hochschule der Künste Berlin, stays in Paris, Rome, and New York; Swiss grants in 1985, 1986, 1988; 1991-1993: lived in New York; numerous solo and group exhibitions worldwide.
The internationally acclaimed Swiss photographer Beat Streuli is drawn back to the city New York again and again. Fascinated by the contrasts between the shadows of the skyscrapers and the glaring sunlight, he captures unique and evocative images of people in this hectic modern metropolis.
The artist has selected two of these photographs, which call to mind the style of American Photorealism, for our Collector's Edition.
The Collector's Edition will be shipped upon receipt of payment (including postage and handling) or credit card authorization.
