Point and Shoot
Henry Bond was born in London in 1966, where he lives and works.
1984–1985: Surrey Institute of Art and Design, Farnham, Surrey. 1985–1988: Goldsmiths' College, University of London.
Henry Bond’s photographs follow the gaze of an aimless wanderer through the streets of London. Shopping temples, night clubs, dance floors, and a parade of fashion labels appear as if by chance in these pictures, often in soft focus or viewed from unusual perspectives. Using a telephoto lens, he captures indiscreet paparazzi-style images. Photos of shoes allude to commercial and fashion photography. Grainy images look much like those taken by street-corner surveillance cameras.
This Collector’s Edition is from the now out-of-print book entitled Point and Shoot, whose title describes the photographer’s viewpoint and working method in a nutshell. The image shows the legs of brand-conscious teenage girls with their trendy shoes.
The Collector's Edition will be shipped upon receipt of payment (including postage and handling) or credit card authorization.

Point and Shoot
Henry Bond (*1966 in London) lebt und arbeitet in London.
1984/85 Surrey Institute of Art and Design, Farnham, Surrey. 1985–1988 Goldsmiths' College, University of London.
